The aim of the research is the development of theoretical foundations for the creation of speech understanding systems based on multiagent recursive cognitive architectures. The principles of understanding natural language statements based on selforganizing multiagent cognitive architectures have been developed. A formal description of the semantics of natural language utterances and the process of understanding these statements on the basis of selforganizing multiagent cognitive architectures are proposed.
