The task of constructing individual learning paths is complicated by inherent weakness of structuring subject areas and the difficulty of formalizing. Thus, the nonlinear structure of the learning system requires intellectual approach to the planning of the educational process throughout its duration. Application of intelligent information system for creating individual learning paths will systematize the knowledge of experts from different subject areas and improve the learning process.
