An overview of the current state of research in the field of modeling virtual intelligent multi-agent environments is presented. Examples of foreign and domestic systems are given, illustrating the wide capabilities of such models and their effectiveness in the tasks of building an intelligent interface, creating human-machine teams, developing models of artificial intelligence and artificial life.
