The Lamé wave equation and Lamé wave functions are considered. Asymptotic formulas are obtained for the eigenvalues which are analogous to the Bohr–Sommerfeld quantization rule, and the asymptotics of the Lamé wave functions are found. Bibliography: 12 titles.
