A model for calculating the flammable limits of two or more gaseous combustibles mixtures is proposed. It based on the equilibrium chemical thermodynamics (without involving the chemical kinetics) and a generalized model of chemical equilibrium. The flammability limits of single combustibles are assumed to be known. The model takes into account the possibility of the formation of condensed carbon in fuel-rich combustible mixtures. Using the proposed model, the concentration limits of ignition for a number of multifuel mixtures containing H$_2$, C$_2$H$_2$, CH$_4$, C$_6$H$_{12}$ and CO were calculated. The calculation results coincide well with similar results obtained using the well-known empirical formulas of Le Chatelier. The proposed model can be considered as a theoretical justification for these formulas.
