Let S be a foundation semigroup with identity and with a multiplicative weight function w . In this paper, we show that S satisfies Reiter's condition if and only if there exists a left invariant mean on the dual space of the weighted measure algebra Finally, we give an example which shows that this result is not true if the hypothesis that S is foundation is dropped.
