Man beweist, daß jede abgeschlossene konvexe und nichtkompakte Untermenge des n-dimensionalen euklidischen Raumes mindestens eine abgeschlossene Halbgerade enthalten muß und mit Hilfe von dieser Behauptung untersucht man die Beschränktheit des Lösungsgebiets linearer Ungleichungssystemen .
