In this paper, we focus on the oscillation of third-order difference equations of nonlinear type. In contrast to earlier methods, we employ a novel approach that is based on the linearization of the studied equation to obtain the main results. Our new results extend, simplify, and improve existing results in the literature. An example is provided to illustrate the main results.
