The sixteenth International Symposium Elementary Mathematics Teaching (SEMT’21) conference took place in August 22-26, 2021. It was a jubilee meeting, because SEMT is already 30 years old. From the very beginning, the conference was and still is organized by the Faculty of Pedagogy of Charles University in Prague. This year’s edition was held under the theme “Broadening experiences in elementary school mathematics”.
