Numerical solution of a three-dimensional analogue of the Goursat's problem

The numerical algorithms for solving the Goursat problem in the transverse direction to the gas flow, which are used to find two-dimensional aerodynamic shapes, are shown, by analyzing model equations, to be ineffective when solving the analgous three-dimensional problems.
