Some inverse problems of oscillation theory

An inverse problem for the Helmholtz equation is analyzed and the uniqueness theorems for its solution are given. The particular feature of the problem consists in using multifrequency information. It is shown that some inverse problems of wave diffraction can be reduced to the above problem for the wave equation.
