On mesh-class-optimal methods of computing quadratures

Exact and approximate solutions are obtained for the problem of constructing an optimal method of restoring quadratures, whereby, for a fixed integrand and fixed quadrature formula, the approximation error can be minimized in the class of meshes with a given number of nodes.
