Local Hamiltonian in the Faddeev–Tirkkonen model

A lattice Hamiltonian is constructed by means of the factorization technique for the $L$-operator found by Faddeev and Tirkkonen. It is shown that the continous limit of this Hamiltonian leads to the equations of motion of the Liouville model.
