Wave propagation in block fluid media is investigated on the basis of effective models which are anisotropic fluids. For velocities of wave propagation and for effective densities, estimating inequalitites are established. The propaganda velocity in a fluid mixture can not be greater than the greatest velocity in mixed fluids but can be less than the least velocity in mixed fluids.
