The definitions of some spectral characteristics of polynomial matrices (such as the analytical (algebraic) and geometric multiplicities of a point of the spectrum, deflating subspaces, matrix solvents, and block eigenvalues and eigenvectors) are extended to the multiparameter case, and their properties are analyzed.
