Statistical analysis of the generalised linear proportional Hazards model

We analyze the finite sample properties of the modified partial likelihood estimators of the parameters of the generalised proportional hazards model by simulation. A goodness-of-fit test for the proportional hazards model against the GPH model is proposed. The lung cancer data are analyzed.
