In this paper the author continues the study of high-frequency surface Love waves (analogous with well-known transversal shear waves) in anisotropic elastic media. Since the setting of the problem does not depend on a specific form of the elasticity tensor, it becomes possible to develop an algorithm relating the direction in which a surface wave propagates to its polarization transversity. The proposed algorithm was expoited to single out the special cases of anisotropy where the directions found correspond to the eikonal equation on the surface of an elastic body. The space-time ray technuque in these cases enables the construction of the of Love wave under study. Bibliography: 8 titles.
