On the stability of models with four-fermion interaction in the presence of vector fields

The correspondence of quark models with 4-fermion interaction and a finite cut-off to the low-energy QCD is examined. It is found that the gluon condensates are essential to provide the consistency of such models. The stability conditions allow us to connect the main scales of 4-quark models with condensates of quarks and gluons.
