Separation of variables in the Gaudin model

The separation of variables is performed for the Gaudin model (a degenerate case of the quantum integrable magnetic $SU(2)$-chain) by means of an explicit change of coordinates® The space of quantum, states is described in terms of ideala in polynomial rings. The structure of the eigeafunetions is studied. Bibl. – 13.
