Linear oscillations of perfectly conducting nonviscous
plasma in an external straight-line magnetic field are considered.
The frequency spectrum corresponding to a fixed harmonic
mode is studied. The discrete spectrum asymptotic behaviour at
infinity and around the essential spectrum boundary is investigated.
