On the investigation of the dispersion equation for a~task of the borehole acoustics

For the investigation of the propagation of leaking waves in the borehole it is neasessary to determine the complex roots of the dispersion equation. The motion trajectories of the roots on the plane of the phase velocity are obtained. The influence of the elastic constants and densities on the complex frequencies for the radial vibrations is investigated.
