On uniform asymptotic expansions of whispering gallery eigenfunctions

An asymptotic method of uniform expansions in connection with the problem determination of eigenfunctlons of the Laplace operator is illustrated. Constructed eigenfunctions satisfy to Dirichlet and Neumann conditions and concentrate in a vicinity of the boundary.
