This paper examines the employment situation as well as the factors that influence flexible employment in a variety of Greek organizations. Integration costs focused on training, the external environment, specific characteristics of the firms and the firms' tasks are studied as the factors that affect the use of flexible employees. Data from a sample of Greek manufacturing and services firms are used for the hypothesis verification.
