A comparative study on mixed dynamic routing techniques is presented. Both virtual circuit and datagram techniques are applied on voice—data networks and an extended analysis of the different performance parameters is made through adequate simulation techniques. Fairness strategies are also examined and the obtained results are discussed and evaluated.
