The results of the modeling of thermocapillary and gravitational convection in a drop of liquid by finite element method are given. The approximate semi-empirical formula for a set of parameters of convective vortex are described. The experimental verification of the modeling results is made.
Keywords: modeling; finite element method; a drop of liquid; evaporation; thermocapillary convection.
