Determination of the mode composition propagating in a few-mode optical fiber

The possibility for regeneration of a mode structure of radiation extending in the optical fiber with step index by field distribution at out fiber end is studied in the article. Test method for complex amplitudes of optical fiber modes is developed with the help of genetic algorithm and the possibility for its application is shown.
