About error estimate of nonlinear projection regularization method under the condition of priece-wise smoothness of solution

An approximate solution for the inverse Cauchy problem for the heat conduction equation is obtained by means of nonlinear projection regularization method. Error estimates for the approximate solution are obtained in the class of piecewise smooth functions. These estimates are better then the known estimates for the optimal and the order-optimal methods of solving the problem.
