UV-Vis, IR and XPS experimental techniques have been used to obtain the comprehensive data about molecular and atomic structure of carbonized PVDF films to reveal a rate and features of ageing during a long period of time. The photo-oxidation phenomenon of carbonized layer of the samples after exposure to daylight is revealed.
Keywords: PVDF, photoinduced oxidation, carbynoid, carbonization, IR spectroscopy.
