There is additional a priori information about the exact solution useful for qualitative improvement of the approximate solution in many inverse problems of the mathematical physics. In this article the generalization of the discrepancy method suggested by V. K. Ivanov in the article [1]. The discrepancy method allows using additional a priori information.
