The authors carried out the sets of experiments on carbonization of the polyvinylidene fluoride films with the soft X-rays and flow of the secondary electrons bombarding. On the basis of the mathematical models written in literature, for the first time the authors offered the model of kinetics of the first stage of the carbonization process which allows separate the influence of the irradiation and electrons on the process. They specified the model parameters wherein it indicated the best fit with the experimental information.
Keywords: PVDF, carbine, carbonization, XPS.
