Increasing the accuracy of the forecast inertial control mode

The problem of increasing the accuracy of the inertial control of Yamal 200 satellites in the forecast mode is considered (without using angular rate sensors). A bypass control scheme consisting of an automatic on-board stabilization circuit (the “forecast” inertial control mode) and “exhibition” circuit operating using the Mission Control Center of the Yamal 200 satellite is proposed. The principles of the “corrected forecast” mode confirmed by flight experiments are presented.
