The results of computational investigation of shock wave attenuation in porous and continuum protective barriers in coal mines are presented. The porous and continuum concretes were used separately as a barrier material.
Keywords: mathematical modeling, mechanics of deformable bodies, shock waves, protective barriers, continuum and porous concrete, coal mines.
