The Cauchy problem for long wave equations in the axisymmetric case

The Cauchy problem for a system of integro-differential equations modeling the free-boundary vortex fluid flow is considered. For the initial data satisfying the hyperbolicity conditions, the solvability of the Cauchy problem in the small with respect to time is proved.
