Research of the resistance coefficient of cedar pine crown elements

In this work, the results of the experimental researches of the resistance coefficient of crown elements of a cedar pine upon movement of air masses are stated. The received dependences are presented taking into account the influence of the form and weight of the investigated samples and describe the resistance coefficient of the crone of a given kind of trees. The results of the research can be used in numerical modeling of movement of air masses in large forests, plantings, and forest shelter belts.
