Numerical modelling of the thermal bar effect in lake Baikalin a~spring-summer warming period

The developed mathematical model and numerical algorithm make it possible to reproduce the process of the thermal bar dynamics in Lake Baikal with allowance for main physical factors. The results presented here show the appearance of a circulation flow off shore and its movement towards the central part of the lake with time.
