On some topological properties of the ring of polynomials in $C_pC_p(X)$

In this note we establish basic topological properties of the smallest subring of $C_pC_p(X)$, which contains $X$, as well as some relations of this properties with properties of space $X$.
Keywords: space of continuous functions, pointwise convergence topology, topological ring of polynomials.
