Numerical analysis of conjugate convective-radiative heat transfer in an enclosure

Mathematical simulation of complex heat transfer in a rectangular enclosure having finite thickness walls in the presence of a local heat source has been carried out. Natural convection and radiation in a gas cavity and heat conduction in solid walls have been considered as main mechanisms of heat transfer. Velocity and temperature fields describing the basic regularities of the investigated process in a wide range of key parameters have been obtained.
