Numerical simulation of MHD pump

The paper deals with the calculation of flow in a magnetohydrodynamic pump. Modeling was performed on the basis of the equations of magnetohydrodynamics implemented in the software complex ANSYS. At the beginning the steady laminar flow is calculated, and the calculation results are used as an initial approximation for the computation of the turbulent flow regime. Points to the complex nature of the interaction of hydrodynamic and magnetic fields. Bibliogr. 2. Il. 5.
