Relative motion is a common phenomenon of physical motions in our life. In this paper, the relative motions are divided into two models motions of recursion and pursuit, and combination of both. They are shown that a multitude of fascinating geometric patterns can be generated with these trajectories. In the further study, relative motion seems to be a promising mechanism and be used to explore the new methods to generate geometric patterns.
