The main directions in scientific work and in high-tech computer engineering developed by the staff of the Chair of Computational Mathematics are described. In addition to describing the tasks to be solved and presenting the results achieved, the connection with the educational and methodological activities of the department at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics is indicated.
