The article discusses Wiener and neural network filters in relation to the problem of determining the profile of the road surface. Profile identification is carried out using the inertial data of a smartphone rigidly fixed inside a moving car. On the basis of an experiment on the passage of a car through a series of speed bumps, the effectiveness of the proposed approaches is compared.
