Aerodynamic characteristics of square parachute

We give a method for computing the shape coefficients of the square parachute based on the theory of the round parachute due to Rahmatulin. We also describe the results of experiments with models of the square parachute carried out at different values of the shroud lines length, the cupola air-permeability and the velocity of the filling flow.
