Motion of an ellipsoidal bunch of charged particles

The motion as in the title is studied both with and without influence of an external magnetic field. A solution is given that describes the homogeneous relative deformation of gas in the general form. The equations are studied numerically and analytically in the cases where either the external magnetic field is absent or is directed along the revolution axis.
