Solving the Boltzmann kinetic equation using tetrahedral meshes on a cluster architecture

A technique proposed for solving the Boltzmann kinetic equation by the conservative projection method on multiprocessor systems using MPI is considered. In order to discretize the coordinate space, tetrahedral meshes are used. Efficiencies of some division algorithms are compared. The dependence of increase in efficiency on the number of threads is discussed for the first and second order differential schemes.
