Mathematical modeling of the two-dimensional process of changing

A new mathematical model for the two-dimensional process of groundwater hill subsidence is proposed. The model is tested with the use of known solutions to the plane problems. An example of groundwater subsidence in a layer whose permeability varies according to a power law is discussed.
