Some questions on construction and treatment of level lines of real functions of two variables are considered. Parametric two-dimensional splines are used to smooth isolines. An algorithm for constructing profiles of functions of two variables is proposed. The reconstruction of a function is discussed for the case when a family of its isolines of different levels is given.
Keywords:
isolines of functions, parametric splines, recovery of functions using isolines, smoothing of isolines, mapping problems.
