The problem of aerosol flow with charged particles in a dense array of spheres is solved. Velocity field of the carrier phase flow is found by solving the Navier–Stokes equations using CFD code ANSYS Fluent. Particle trajectories are calculated taking into account aerodynamic drag, gravity force and electrostatic force for single charge. The deposition efficiency of charged particles has been studied parametrically. Fair agreement with experimental data has been obtained.
