The article deals with the influence of the parameters of a pre-cataclysmic binary system on its light curve. The reflection effect is analyzed based on the model elaborated by the authors. It is demonstrated that the parameters of the system may influence its light curve in two ways. For instance, the amplitude of the effect is larger for K class cold companions and is smaller for M and G class companions.
Keywords: pre-cataclysmic binaries, reflection effect, atmosphere models, light curves.
