This article describes an automatic vertical incident ionogram processing system. Autoscaling software has been designed to scale and interpret the ionograms produced by “Cyclon” series ionosonde. The automatic scaling algorithm test indicates that the algorithm can successfully derive parameters of the ionospheric layers in more than 90% cases.
