Propagation and interaction dynamics of the few-cycle pulses in quadratic nonlinear media with managed dispersion is studied. Periodic modulation of velocity mismatch sign and the third-order dispersion coefficient sign are shown to allow suppressing walk-off and pulse decompression that essentially increase efficiency of extremely short pulses' interactions.
